Brittany Davi
Brittany Davi is an abstract painter and sculptor. Inspired by nature and city life. Her paintings catch your eyes with texture and color. The movement and shapes are inspired by tree bark and city walls filled with graffiti, paper ads pulled on and off the walls creating a beautiful abstract piece. Brittany Davi went to school for Fine Art at the Academy of Art in San Francisco where she grew immensely as an artist.
Taking a canvas and adding a variety of mediums such as acrylic paint, spray paint, pastels, pen and pencil to build up many layers in each piece. Her goal is to bring joy into a space with her artwork. Letting the colorful pallet take the viewer to a playful, abundant, joyous mindset.
Thomas Haddy
Thomas Haddy is a California native, who was born and raised in the sierra foothills, where he now resides. He has a background in stone sculpture and murals. Thomas started turning stone at the age of 55 after a 30 year career with the postal service. Much to his surprise his work started selling right away, and he found himself in galleries and art fairs across the country.
Thomas’s stone work includes alabaster, talc, soapstone, brucite and other various stones. Thomas starts with large rocks which he cuts into slabs with a chainsaw, then he cuts them into circles on a bandsaw. He then attaches them to a lathe and turns them very slowly using carving tools making the shape by eyes and hand. Thomas never duplicates his vessels, so that each buyer has a one of a kind piece. He has been strongly inspired by his mentor and friend Jack Richardson, who has guided him in the art of stone turning. A very rare artform today.
